About Us

We are a small and friendly self help group made up of ostomates and their partners sharing a common condition following major surgery.

We meet on the second Saturday of every month between 10am - 12 noon at Harwood Court Community Centre, Harwood Close, Sutton-in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire NG17 4PD.

The aim of the group is to help and support both new and existing ostomates in coping with this life saving situation by sharing experiences and practical suggestions.

The group welcomes partners, husbands, wives, friends and family as they can also be affected by this change in lifestyle.

We regularly have both suppliers and manufacturers attend our meetings to show the latest available products and whenever possible a stoma nurse to answer questions of a more medical nature.
